July 10Jul 10 CB Team I've been showing my kids some of the older Marvel movies recently. The original X-Men movies didn't really keep their attention. They thought they were a little slow and cheesy. But when we put on Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, they were glued to the screen from start to finish. We're finishing up the third movie tonight, and they've been asking to watch it all week.It got me thinking that Spider-Man has aged incredibly well. It might be one of those rare series, like The Lord of the Rings, that feels almost timeless.Which older Marvel movie do you think has held up the best?
July 10Jul 10 CB Team I agree the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy really holds up. Even the third one I think is better than its reputation suggests.

July 10Jul 10 CB Team Not surprised that the Raimi ones held their attention, that would have been my answer.I wonder if Blade holds up, not to say you show that one to your kids next, but it was pretty foundational (and I wonder if Blade II holds up better and has obscured our memories)

I'm just so glad those movies held up they way they did. Yeah I may hold up on Blade for the younger kids 😂 but I think my teenager is ready for it. I'm curious to see if it held up as well.
