Anyone Watching the New Crystal Lake Series? (No Spoilers)

With Halloween right around the corner, I'm curious how many Friday the 13th fans are checking out the new Crystal Lake series. Are you excited to see the franchise return to television? Do you think a TV series is the right direction for Friday the 13th, or would you rather have another movie?

Let's keep the discussion spoiler-free for anyone who hasn't watched it yet!

Hell yeah. Linda Cardelini has been waiting for a shot like this - and KILLS IT. Binged it all week, and NOT SORRY.

MILD SPOILERS: I don't even mind that they're dipping into the sci-fi end of Jason lore. It's a good horror/mystery series alongside From, It: Welcome to Derry, or even some older underrated gems like Bates Motel.

Finally finished the entire season, and I loved it! Linda Cardellini was fantastic as Pamela Voorhees, and I think this series was exactly what the Friday the 13th franchise needed.

I was a little skeptical about whether Friday the 13th would work as a television series, but I'm glad they went this direction. It gave the story and characters a lot more room to develop than another movie probably would have.

I'm definitely hoping we get another season. Anyone else finish it yet? Curious where everyone thinks they should take the story next.
