With Brand New Day about to give us another Tom Holland movie, who is your favorite of the three? It's really hard to look past the nostalgic love I have for the first two Maguire movies (especially with how well Spider-Man 2 holds up). He has the most iconic moments, and he's particularly great as Peter Parker. Garfield is underrated because the movies weren't good, but he's probably slightly better as Spider-Man than Maguire was (and certainly funnier/quippier). But... I think Holland might've overtaken them both for me as he just gets almost everything right (the only drawback has been the reliance on other MCU characters in shaping him).

After Travis Knight threw out the comedic call to James Gunn, it got me thinking about which DC character or property would be the best fit for him. I think I have to side with the online calls for him to do a Shazam movie, but I think he would also be a great fit for something like The JSA. What DC project would you want to see him work on?

With a few recent box office disappointments leaving futures uncertain (Mandalorian and Grogu, Masters of the Universe), what's a movie you wish had performed better so it got a sequel? I still want to live in a world where The Nice Guys was a hit and we got 2-3 more of those movies.

Welp, the Christmas Special is officially cancelled. I do think there's some good news behind this - the BBC clearly believe they can put the show up for competitive tender - but man, this isn't the news I wanted lol. Looks like there's a reason we hadn't heard anything about the show's future for a while.

It seems like every major comic book death eventually gets reversed. A character dies, everyone talks about it for a few months, and then they're back with a new costume, a clone, a multiverse variant, or some other explanation. Has that made it harder for you to get invested in death stories, or do you think the occasional resurrection is just part of comics? What's one character return that you thought was handled well, and one that should have stayed permanent?

I only have PS5, so I don't follow Xbox all that closely, but I have to say I'm confused about their recent messaging concerning exclusives. At first it seemed like they were going multi-platform for everything, but now they're going back to console exclusives? I just saw that Gears of War E-Day hasn't been announced for PS5 ... which is strange because they put out Gears Reloaded last year. That felt like Microsoft was trying to introduce the franchise to a new player base before the new release came out. I've been interested in picking up the Halo remake for PS5 because I've never played a Halo game before, but I'm kinda waffling on that now in case they decide that's t…

Now that we know that a certain someone is in the Masters of the Universe sequel, thanks to the actor posting about it before it's even on wide release, who do you think should play the character? I think Sydney Sweeney is a good shout, but may be a bit obvious given how odd but effective Kristen Wiig's casting as Evil-Lyn turned out to be. Did you see it? Did you get your laughs' worth? I thought it was A) Much better than 3,4, and 5 B) A great reminder of why the Wayans are a comedic dynasty C) A tease of the alt-universe where we got Anna Faris and Regina Hall as a comedic duo for many films, instead of all these Chris Pratt movies D) Another good reminder that comedy - and def raunch comedy - needs to always be part of the theatrical slate.

We just got the first look at Scooby-Doo in Netflix's upcoming live-action TV show (https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/netflix-just-revealed-scooby-doo-for-the-live-action-remake-its-a-real-dog-ridiculously-cute/). Are you excited for this new take on the Mystery, Inc. gang? The casting is pretty great, but it's the real pup that has truly made me excited, because my god how adorable! It's been sixteen years, but a new Nightmare movie is finally happening, which means its time to figure out what people actually want. I think it would be impossible for Robert Englund to return, so in my mind, that's off the table. To that end, I also hope this doesn't try to be a legacy sequel, as that is pretty played out in horror circles.
