So, in a new interview Meryl Streep said that movies have been "Marvel-ized" with largely one dimensional heroes and villains and it's made movies boring. I tend to agree with her-- but I don't think that means Marvel movies are bad. I think the black and white nature of superhero stories work very well for Marvel movies but would be hard to pull off in other genres. What are your thoughts?

SPOILERS! . . . . The duel we have all been waiting for happened (Darth Maul vs Darth Vader) and then some! I was on the edge of my seat for Maul Chapters 9 & 10. Think this is one of the best animated series Star Wars has done (storywise and aesthetically). And YES. Season 2 is confirmed, and I need it YESTERDAY. I'm all locked in for "Master Maul." How about You? Where do you rank Maul in the Star Wars TV hierarchy?

Seems like they'll reboot & recast most of the cast, but 98% of the casting thus far has been absolutely perfect. Potential "nobodies" replacing those we came to love will be rough. I'd love to see a push for animated Marvel movies, where you'd only have to get reasonable voices & can present stories that could never make it to the big screen (too expensive, too gory, too long, etc)...

Dungeon Crawler Carl is the hottest thing right now and I for one am pumped for the new book coming out in just a few more days. However, I know that once I tear through it I'll need something new to read -- and comics seems like a good choice! What comics do you think would be good reads after Dungeon Crawler Carl? Should they all be sci-fi? I think there are a few fantasy titles that might actually be better fits to scratch that itch.
