Dexter Resurrection is the best season since Trinity
Was very skeptical of Dexter returning (again) but really enjoyed this season. NYC is a great change of pace for location and an all-star cast of baddies made for some especially memorable hunts. Hopefully when they decide to cancel the series for the third time, they finally land on an ending that works. I wish the my would have kept Original Sin going too Agree or disagree with it being the best season since Trinity?

Will Lex Luthor Be an Ally in Man of Tomorrow?
With the new Superman movie being announced - and with Man of Tomorrow being the teased angle - will we see Lex and Clark team up to take on a bigger foe or not? The comic storyline that's being referenced features a frienemy relationship between the two but, with only one Lex Luthor story under the DCU's belt, it's a little intimidating to think that Gunn might (like Snyder) be overcomplicating his Superman sequel story. Most Annoying TV Show Cancellation That Ended on a Cliffhanger
I thought Glow was great. Stinks they just canned it. It had so much buzz around it too - even in season 2.

Most Annoying TV Show Cancellation That Ended on a Cliffhanger
Terminator: TSCC and Dark Matter were two of my other picks!

Most Annoying TV Show Cancellation That Ended on a Cliffhanger
Title says it all, came here with this one in mind but then thought of more. I’ll see if anyone names one of my other picks. Flash Forward

I still play Destiny 2 most weeks, convince me to play something else!
Destiny has been my mindless grind game for the last decade. I’ve stepped away a couple times but the lead-in to The Final Shape hooked me - big time. And then The Final Shape delivered a killer end to the 10 years of time I spent in the world. But… everything since has been underwhelming and while I enjoyed the story in Edge of Fate, nothing about the expansion feels rewarding - and the grind is awful. I’ve got Donkey Kong Bananza and other games in the queue but I need a new game for mindless pre-bedtime play. Convince me what my next new obsession should be.

What your GOTY so far?
Assassin’s Creed Shadows has eaten up a lot of my time. Destiny: Edge of Fate has one of the best stories in the series - but almost everything else about it is, meh. I suspect I’d say Donkey Kong Bananza - but haven’t dusted it off yet.

What Games Are You Still Looking Forward to This Year?
Ghost of Yotei is up there for me. I wish I could get excited for Borderlands 4, but i can only handle one looter shooter at a time. And Destiny still has its hooks in me - even though it doesn’t deserve it.

Top 3 Horror Movies of the 2020s
Oh man. Horror has been so good the last several years. I might go: The Invisible Man Weapons (might have recency bias but still going to be hard to top) Malignant

Is 'The Dark Knight Rises' Good?
I'm in the minority I think in that I just don't like TDKR - basically at all. There are aspects of it I like but... it's too long, too all over the place, and the characters I'd want to see more of, we don't (Talia, Scarecrow, etc). Thematically, I like it - but the whole thing feels like an outline that gets fleshed out with individual/disconnected bits. I just don't enjoy much of the action or the character interactions all that much.

Peacemaker Season 2 Thoughts??
I can’t believe how much I’ve come to love the series. Peacemaker is not a character I ever really connected with - but Cena and the cast are great. And Gunn is just dishing out one bonkers scenario after another. Definitely digging season 2 even more than 1.

Will George R.R. Martin ever finish A Song of Ice and Fire?
Would be VERY pleasantly surprised if this was the case - especially since a) the shows are the current pop culture “canon” for how the story ends and b) he’s said he wouldn’t want anyone to finish them for him.

Batman ('89) or Batman Returns?
Batman '89 is hard to top - especially because of Nicholson's Joker. But elementary school me DEFINITELY saw Batman Returns more times in theaters (I think 12 times). I went and saw that movie with every combination of person in my family and friend circle. Also, still got a Cobblepot For Mayor button on my shelf.

Let's settle the debate. Which are you picking?

Mortal Kombat 3 is the best MK game of the entire franchise
I have a special place in my heart for MKII - because I remember how awesome that all looked in the lead-up to release but I agree on MK3 being the best. Though, are talking Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - or base MK3? In my garage...

Please Stop Insisting That Robert Pattinson's Batman Should Join The DCU (He Doesn't Belong There)
Agree. I like Pattinson's Batman enough - and Reeves' world building. So I get why some fans are scared to lose that if people really take to whoever Gunn might cast for the DCU. But based on all of Gunn's DCU inspirations, not to mention the success of Superman (2025) being "fun", it seems pretty obvious that he's going to want a more Batman: The Animated Series-like Batman that's a bit less "dark and gritty." I was actually a little concerned about Superman being too "cartoony" but came to really appreciate the focus on fun - and while Batman won't be that light/hopeful, I tend to think we're not going to get Dark Knight-esque story. Pattinson can be that.

LOST Deserves a Sequel Series (Yes, I Said It)
LOST is still better than most modern TV shows and, in the years since it ended, it has become an easy target for revisionist history. Fans know that behind-the-scenes things got messy (and that Lindelof and Cuse didn't have as much mapped out as fans would have liked) but it's still a great series - and a no-brainer to bring back.
