  1. Sorry for the delayed response here. This could be because of Sony's dynamic pricing model they've introduced.
  2. I love to boot up Spirit City: Lofi Sessions and use their in-game lofi tunes and sounds. But I do also love a good Skyrim lofi, like these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSDoXnslLsg&t=6s
  3. It's been on my list for ages, but I still haven't had the chance to play them. Which one is your favorite?

That sounds about right to me.

  6. I also managed to dodge the leaks, aside from a few Adult Zuko thirst traps lol. I'm very excited to actually see the movie!
  7. As a longtime Digimon fan, I'm really excited that we're getting a mobile monster-taming game for the franchise. And we finally have a release date - next week on July 15th! Will you be checking it out when it goes live? (Here are the details on the game ICYMI)
  8. Yeah, it's not the easiest to pick up quickly. But it is good fun once you get the hang of it.
  9. I really like Betrayal at the House on the Hill for this. Because of the tile-building format and different scenarios, each playthrough feels unique.
  10. There really are a ton of great games coming out this year! I'm struggling to find the time, too. Not looking forward to a next-gen console purchase either though lol.
  11. With the Xbox layoffs and PlayStation disc-free news everywhere, things in gaming feel pretty bleak. Give me some good news. What games or events, etc, are you actually looking forward to in all the chaos?
  12. This reminds me that Digimon: The Movie would be another cool one. I didn't see that in theaters but have always loved the movie.
  13. Emotionally, I'm already in October for the new season of The Apothecary Diaries. But I definitely need to find something good to get into before then.
  14. It'd be Lord of the Rings for me, I think. I was in fact alive at the time, but I was a smidge too young to be aware of the first movie when it hit theaters and I feel like that would've just felt so epic.
  15. Yeah, it does away with physical used copies without making digital more affordable, so that sucks.
  16. PlayStation just announced it will move away from physical game discs entirely by 2028. The timing is wild after the backlash for GTA 6's "code in a box" physical edition. What do you think about this major move towards a digital-only gaming landscape? Personally, I don't really buy physical games because of the space and convenience of digital. But I still don't like companies making everything digital, especially when they've got a history of yanking licenses away from people.
  17. Personally, I do think it's too much. With how expensive everything you need to just exist is these days, it sucks to see entertainment like games, books, movies, etc. all getting harder to afford even though many of us need the escape more than ever. Games are already going for $70-80 for major AAA releases, and jumping up to $100 makes them feel even more out of reach. That said, I'm not a big GTA person, so I think that makes the pricetag even harder to justify. If Pokemon Winds and Waves comes in swinging at $100, I'm probably going to have to find the budget for it lol. But I won't like it.
  18. Yeah, it's clever to make the price difference small enough that many people will just upgrade by default. I'll be curious to see which version my husband demands I download for him on the PS5 when the time comes because he's much more the GTA fan in the house than I am lol.
  19. I agree, it's frustrating they're launching without a physical disc option, especially at that price.
  20. Really makes you understand even more why so many studios are giving the game a wide berth and releasing in September well ahead of GTA 6.
  21. Yeah, I'm all for paid story DLC. But even though GTA 6 feels more aggressive than most, the locked shops still seem like they would mostly offer cosmetic content still. So even if I was planning to buy GTA 6, I don't think I'd pay $100 for it.
  22. People were not happy to find out just how much content is locked behind the $20 upgrade to the Ultimate Edition of GTA 6. But apparently, 80% of gamers are already saying they're going to pay for it, according to a recent poll. Where do you stand?
  23. Let's dig into some good old gaming nostalgia. In honor of the N64's 30th birthday, Circana just shared the top 200 best-selling games on the platform. Where do your favorite games rank on the list? I played every game in the top 10 except Star Fox (I know, I know), and they all make sense. But I can't believe Harvest Moon 64 isn't higher on the list!
  24. I'm reading an advanced copy of Rewrite The Stars, a new contemporary romance from one of my favorite authors. Gaming-wise, I can't say because of the review embargo. But it's good.
  25. At long last, Valve has confirmed the price for the Steam Machine. And as predicted, it's over $1000. Does this change your opinion on it? For me, it's a sign that gaming is getting even more expensive as a hobby. It makes me worried about the price of next-gen consoles if costs for memory components don't improve.
