  1. I've had my eye on Windrose for a while now, and it's absolutely dominating the Steam charts. I'm curious if anyone here is playing it, and what you think if so?
  2. Definitely not for me after playing the demo, but it looks like it's poised to be another hit for Capcom for sure!
  3. I am pretty much entirely digital these days. I understand why people prefer physical ownership, but our small house makes it pretty impractical to find space for a bunch of games. I save that for books and Funko pops lol.
  4. Yeah, I was baffled when I saw that news this morning. The MCU isn't a great place and this does not feel like the move to let them course correct.
  5. We're officially halfway through April, and I'm curious... what's your favorite game that you've been playing this month so far? Personally, I've been enjoying getting back into Elder Scrolls Online with Season 0.
  6. My husband and I have been slowly making our way through the most recent season of Frieren and it looks like we'll be watching the last episode this week! Then we'll have to find something new to watch!
  7. I try to whenever I have the opportunity. We have a few places not too far from where I live that at least have a lineup of pinball machines, but my husband and I usually seek out retro barcades and the like when on vacation, too!
  8. It's the weekend, and that means bonus time for gaming. So, what's everyone playing? I've got a few things on the docket for review, but I'm also hoping to dig into some of the cooking games living in Steam Library purgatory this weekend.
  9. With how long it's been since Ultimate first came out, I really hope we get a brand-new game in the next few years. But Nintendo does seem to be leaning in to Switch 2 editions, so I wouldn't be surprised if they go that route.
  10. I have a soft spot for Peach because she was my only option to play as a girl in games like Mario Kart when I was younger. I was really excited when they added Daisy, too.
  11. I love Kingdom Hearts and did a full replay of the series not long ago. I hope we finally hear something about KH4 soon!
  12. For me, probably Ocarina of Time. Just have such fond memories of playing that one.
  13. Hi, Kayla, and welcome! I'm also a big Doctor Who fan!
  14. Pokemon Champions is now live on Switch (and Switch 2). Who's playing, and what do you think of it so far? I did a preview last month, but I need to actually dive in and check out the full game today. Excited to see how badly my favorite Pokemon get crushed in the competitive meta because I'm too stubborn for my own good haha.
  15. There are a few Pokemon cards I'd really like to have. In particular, the stunning full art Psyduck from Ascended Heroes and the Umbreon from Prismatic Evolutions. Both are pretty pricey to buy on the resale market at the moment, but if that Psyduck keeps going down, I may have to grab it.
  16. As a Bethesda fan and PS5 gamer, I'm definitely tempted. But I tend to be more of a fantasy/magic/bows and arrows kind of gamer than a sci-fi/outer space one. So I may wait a bit to see if they'll put it on sale before I check it out.
  17. I've heard mixed things about the game's story itself, but a TV should could definitely be a place to expand and improve on the world's lore. I could see it happening, for sure.
  18. I still need to watch the first one, so probably won't make it to theaters this time around. Those popcorn buckets do look great though! Hope you enjoy the movie!
  19. I tend to be a holdout on new console generations as it is. Until there are games I absolutely must play that are only on the newest console, I stick with what I have. Of course, given what I do for a living, PlayStation may well force my hand sooner than later on that front lol.
  20. Very fair! I'm typically a single-player gamer, too. I only enjoy live service games that don't force multiplayer elements on you, for the most part.
  21. I really enjoyed the Outbound demo, so hopefully the full game will be equally as enjoyable!
  22. Oh noo, sorry to hear that!
  23. I recently got to cover the upcoming major changes to The Elder Scrolls Online, which is shifting to a seasonal, more live-service-y model after 12 years. That got me thinking about longrunning live service games and how they can start to feel like a chore to keep up with. Do you play any live service games? Which ones are in your current rotation if so? I mostly keep up with mobile games live service wise because it's easier to check in on the go. I've got Pokemon Go, Pokemon TCG Pocket, Pokemon Sleep (are we sensing a theme?) and then Umamusume: Pretty Derby in my app rotation right now. I keep trying to keep up with ESO, too, but it's trickier for me because I have to sit at my PS5 to play.
  24. I'm really excited about inKONBINI (shopkeeping sim) and Outbound (cozy survival game) this month. After previewing Pokemon Champions I'm pretty sure it's not for me, but I will still be checking it out at launch anyway because why not lol.
  25. See, it was going to be an easy choice until you added books. Choosing between books and video games? Basically impossible. I think I'd have to keep books, but I would miss video games very very much.
