Happy new comic book day! Lots of big releases this week, including the next era of Batman, the launch of Spider-Man '94, new chapters in DC's Absolute line, new launches from Image Comics, and more.

I adored Batman #1, and the Absolute books and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series have been hitting for me as well, but let us know what you're reading and picking up this week!

This Week's Big Releases

  1. Batman #1

  2. Absolute Superman #11

  3. Absolute Green Lantern #6

  4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #11

  5. The Amazing Spider-Man #11

  6. Adventures of Superman: The Book of El #1

  7. Spider-Man '94 #1

  8. Everything Dead & Dying #1

  9. Captain Planet and the Planeteers #4

  10. Closer #1

  11. Star Trek: Voyager - Homecoming #1

I'm looking at you - right now - Batman #1, TMNT #11, and Everything Dead & Dying #1

Batman was absolutely amazing. Absolute Superman soared showing so much character depth in this one. The is the first one for me that Absolute Green Lantern hooked me in, felt it moved a bit slow before this. Also loved the debut of Everything Dead and Dying, such a cool premise. Still need to read ASM and Book of El, I'm mostly digging what Joe Kelly has done in asm, and I love PKJ on anything he does.
