The Sega Saturn is the most underrated console ever made (a fact, not opinion), but which of its hidden gems is the best? My vote goes to Asuka 120% Limited Burning Fest. It's a wonderful fighting game with kawaii characters and a ton of depth.

Sega Saturn is actually where I played the first Tomb Raider game, and it has been one of my favorite franchises ever since.

Somehow I never played the Sega Saturn : ( I went from NES to Super Nintendo and then didn't play anything for years. However, I'm getting back into playing retro games and will try this system out.

Man, I have a VERY specific memory of coming home from school and my launch day preorder Saturn, arcade stick, and Daytona was waiting for me - but I had to go to a middle school activity and was super pissed about having to wait.

It was a genuinely great console though. And one of the only consoles from that era that wasn’t hideous.

I didn’t really answer the question:

Panzer Dragoon II was one of my favorites - but not underrated. I never did unlock the final dragon form for it though. Still haunts me!

Primal Rage looked great on it. That was one of the best ports of that game.

At the time, I was in middle school - so a lot of what I played was whatever GamePro and IGN was barking about. Wish I’d played more of the great non-US library for that system.

The STREET FIGHTER movie game!!! Love that one.
