All the talk has been about who will play whom in the X-Men reboot, but there's another issue to settle. After that movie comes and goes, some of the characters are sure to go off on their own adventures. It would be a bit lackluster if Marvel Studios decided only to focus on Wolverine like Fox did, so I believe some speculation is in order. My top pick would be Nightcrawler, who doesn't get enough love after X2. I could also see the case for Rogue and even Cyclops.

I read the your post title and Nightcrawler immediately jumped to my mind too! I also think a Jubilee movie would be awesome. And then another good option could be to ride the wave of Deadpool & Wolverine and resurrect Channing Tatum's Gambit movie.

Storm, just because there's connections to Wakanda with her and T'Challa (although they might want to age her up a bit, else it's a tad awkward) unless they do a prequel of sorts.

Otherwise, Jubilee, Angel/Archangel and Mirage.

I think Gambit and Rogue would be cool!

I agree with Nightcrawler, I think he could easily carry a solo movie.
