Chronicles of Narnia are Christian stories. I am very curious to see what Netflix does with this. Could lose them many members if they mutilate it with today's complacency.

I liked the first couple movies but the later ones slid off the rails I think. I am also interested to see how they walk that line - because I do think there’s potential for it to backfire if they go too far in either direction.

I adore the Narnia franchise, and with Greta Gerwig attached I'm hopeful they can capture the magic of the books. The third film of the original series was fine, though I really loved the first two films, and Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan was just incredible.

In Great Gerwig we trust. Whatever she wants to do with the franchise, I trust her to make it interesting. Netflix has many flaws, but when it comes to big-shot filmmakers, they seem to give them a lot of creative freedom. For better or worse, as we've seen with Rebel Moon.
