Another popular fan pick (Brandon Sklenar) just said it would be a dream to join the DCU. That got me wondering. Who do you want to see as the DCU's Batman?

Do you want one of these big fan castings (Alan Ritchson)? Go with an unknown? Just incorporate Pattinson into the DCU for simplicity's sake?

Might be a cop out answer, but I don't really have a preference. Gunn's always been great with casting, so I trust whoever he picks. It'll probably be someone who isn't on the radar. I don't think Corenswet was at the top of the Superman list early on.

I wish they would stop beating around the bush and just cast Ritchson. He's the perfect fit, and he would be wasted in almost any other role. There's a reason DC keeps going back to him: he's great.

I think I'm with you. I don't generally have a preference at the moment, though don't get me wrong, Ritchson would be fantastic. I wasn't familiar with Corenswet before Superman, and he was excellent, so I'm good if they think he's a perfect fit.
