We Need The Hunt For Ben Solo

Featured Replies

I love the characters of Ben Solo and Rey. I hope disney could reconsider greenlighting, The Hunt For Ben Solo.

I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Lucasfilm had a completed script everyone loved, a production budget, and a shooting schedule in place and Disney turned it down.

That makes no sense to me. It's wild. How many unrealized Star Wars projects are there? Lucasfilm finally brings Disney a finished script from one of the best directors working today, and Disney's response is to turn it down. I guarantee you Soderbergh had an explanation for why Ben is still alive that made sense.

Instead of passing the Rey/New Jedi Order movie off to like the fifth different writer, just go back to this. Announce it at the next Celebration by bringing Ridley and Driver out on stage and have the crowd go nuts.

I'm with you. I love Rey and Kylo/Ben. We should get this movie.

I genuinely think it would have been able to make people reconsider The Rise of Skywalker. Not that I like it in the slightest or that people would suddenly think it was a good movie, but a strong Ben Solo follow-up could have at least elevated it slightly.
