December 17, 2025Dec 17 I remember reading this series waaaaaaaaaay back in the day. I have a memory disorder, so if I'm not mistaken, wasn't this actually turned into a watchable series? I really went hard into reading this series, all the backstory and all...........I would LOVE a full - on viewable series of THE FULL story!

I just looked into it, and it seems like there was an adaptation in the works at one point, but it unfortunately fell through and still hasn't been released. With how popular Sanderson is, though, there's always hope it will happen eventually.
December 17, 2025Dec 17 CB Team Sanderson gave a fairly substantial update last year on why it isn't happening here https://www.brandonsanderson.com/blogs/blog/state-of-the-sanderson-2024 - there's also been no movement on a Stormlight adaptation either, though both would be tricky to pull off. Unfortunately, this is just the latest in a long, long list of fantasy projects to get stuck in development hell (still waiting for Kingkiller Chronicle, especially with the third book taking so long)
December 17, 2025Dec 17 CB Team I have that whole series sitting on my shelf right now and I have yet to crack open a single book. This is slightly embarassing.
