Most Memorable End of the Year Holiday Moment With Comic Books

Featured Replies

Firstly, Happy Holidays to members and visitors of the forum. Secondly, since comics (and I'll include anime as well) are such a big part of our lives ... there's surely a memorable holiday moment that is somehow connected to comics or anime. For instance, one of my best X-Mas presents ever was a copy of Sons of Origins of Marvel Comics. It blew my mind, and for all my travels across the world, it is the one comic book that has been with me every step of the way. It has seen better days, but I still have it right here on my desk ... after all these years.

My brother gave me the giant Marvel Year By Year a handful of years back for Christmas -- quite literally the first time anyone in my family actually acknowledged the role comics play in my life.

I believe it was Christmas when my mom surprised me with an awesome gift. It was a copy of Moon Knight #1 (the Charlie Huston David Finch run) that was signed by Finch. One of my favorite covers.

Sonic X Power Rangers (Super Sentai) and Mario X Masked Rider (Kamen Rider).
