December 31, 2025Dec 31 CB Team Do you usually keep a pull list at your local shop, or do you prefer buying week to week?Looking back, are there any books you’re glad you didn’t miss, or ones you wish you’d grabbed earlier before they got harder to find or jumped in price?Curious how people approach collecting and what’s worked best for them.

I keep a pull list, but I’ve also found that just asking the folks at my local shop what they’re enjoying or recommending has led me to some great books I probably would’ve missed otherwise. A few of those ended up becoming regular pulls.

I was the same until I found a spot about a year and a half ago. They made it a point to learn my name and the books I like and started recommending books and I eventually started becoming a regular. I wish all areas had great shops.
January 1Jan 1 CB Team I stopped having a pull post-COVID. I need to potentially get back into having one but it just hasn't been a priority.
