Some collectors stick with Cover A for consistency, while others hunt down variants they really like, including ratio variants or store exclusives. Curious what most people prefer. Do you usually grab the main cover, or do variants influence what you pick up?

I'm old school ... I stick with the original "Cover A."

Depends! There are a few artists whose work I buy specifically if they do a variant, like Jenny Frison and Artgerm, though, even if I don't read the book.

Depends on the cover! I am a sucker for good art.

I generally stick with cover A but if I see a Jim Lee or Ron Lim variant I will generally grab their stuff. Or when Marvel did the muppet variants a few months back I grabbed a few of my sons favorites to frame

I always grab Cover A as well and get a variant if I really like the art and have extra money. When I collect runs, I always feel like it's not complete unless I have cover A.

I do the same! I mean I always grab cover A is it's a series I collect, but I'll grab my favorite art too if I have room.

Same! I view comics as art and love to grab interesting covers. I usually swap them out routinely in my work space so I always have something cool to look at while I'm typing away : )

Gotta get the Muppets covers 😂I do the same for certain characters like Gambit, Doctor Doom, Galactus, or Juggernaut. If I see either of those on a cover I grab it even if I'm not really into the series.
