I am new here and was told to post a new post with a hot take, so I thought why not this. While I do love Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger as The Joker, I truly love the Jeremiah Valeska version, especially before he falls into the vat. I just found him to be truly menacing and have a sociopathic quality that resonated with me. I realize he was never called Joker in that series but, you know, he really was.

Honestly, I don't think this is really a hot take! I think a lot of people really appreciate this version of the character. Gotham isn't necessarily everyone's favorite series (I personally never could get into it) but as Jokers go, this one was pretty solid.

Yeah, I also think that's a totally valid choice.

I feel like Gotham is underrated as it is, and that version of the Joker will likely become more appreciated over time. Really dug what he did with the character, and it especially fit the tone of the series.
