Free Comic Book Day (and now Comics Giveaway Day) 2026 has officially passed. What are some of everyone's favorites from the offerings, and did you pick up anything else you are excited for while you were there?

My daughter and I went and picked up a bunch of free comics as well as some books I've been wanting to get, both for reading as well as for decor for the new office.

We picked up the Energon Universe 2026 Special, Something Is Killing the Children Road to Slaughter #1, Spidey & His Amazing Friends #1, Dungeon Crawler Carl #0, Power Rangers #0, Garfield #1, Stitch #1, Jim and the Holograms/My Little Pony Flipbook #1, and The Whole Wide World of Mabel Mulligan #1. I also picked up some Absolute Wonder Woman issues, Zatanna #1, and the newest issue of Something Is Killing the Children.

My shop limited 3 books per person, so I picked up Dungeon Crawler Carl #0, Something is Killing the Children: Road to Slaughter, and Nice House on the Lake #1. I did have some family out of state grab me some too, but I have yet to see their haul

I myself picked up the Street Fighter and Megaman books from Udon for my free books. I heard the Dungeon Crawler Carl 0 was pretty sought after

My shop here in France gave 2 away to anyone, regardless of whether people were buying stuff. They also gave additional comics depending on how much you spent, with no upper limit. I didn't spend much; I just grabbed some Assorted Crisis Events singles with the new covers. Still, I got a bunch of stuff, plus a Waitu pop as a gift. I got Something is Killing the Children and Minotaur by choice, and just asked a random haul for the rest.
