What percentage of your books or comics do you think you’ve actually read?

I was looking through my books and comics today and started wondering how many I’ve actually read cover to cover. I realized I have way more books sitting on my shelves that I’ve never cracked open than I thought. I even found an entire box of Batman graphic novels I haven’t touched yet.

My goal now is to start working my way through them instead of constantly adding more to the pile.

If you had to guess, what percentage of your collection have you actually read?

Not gonna lie, I feel a little bit personally attacked by this question haha. I have a dedicated book cart for the physical books I haven't read yet, and let's just say there's a stack of books as tall as the cart next to it because it's already full to bursting. That said, I don't buy a ton of physical books in general because space is a premium in our house. So I'd say my ratio is probably around 50/50 before we get my Kindle library involved haha.

50/50 is still pretty good! I think it's safe to say that we all buy way more books than we read, but that's also part of the fun of collecting! I have bought so many comics because they had a cool cover and never read them, but now I try to stick to titles I know I'll eventually read, but I now have books all over the place 😂 Kindle definitely is a game changer.

If I own it, I’ve read it, save for maybe like a handful of gimmick reprints of books I’ve already read. Don’t have an impressive collection, but most everything I got was something that was open in my hands at some point
