The trailer already showed black eyes, he's getting organic web, the symbiote fragment was badly resolved in the MCU.... and now Tom Holland teased a major change in the status quo by the end of Brand New Day. Oh, and he's definitely in Secret Wars if he's skipping Doomsday. What do you think?

It feels like they're definitely heading that way - one way or another. But I'm not sure how the dots connect yet. Since the mutation seems to be an inherent thing to him not an external thing (like a symbiote) that's causing it.

The best surprise of the movie would be if he's got the black suit throughout the thing and they've just made it blue and red in the trailers (kidding, kind of).

I hope they don't because i'm more interested in seeing Spidey stories that haven't been attempted. X-Men going back to the well to try and do beloved stories "the right way" was its undoing.
