Maybe it's just me, but June's Steam Next Fest lineup feels even more overwhelming than usual. There are a ton of games and it seems like Steam's event filters are a little bit broken. I still managed to find quite a few gems, including the Moonlight Peaks demo and the latest Vampire: The Masquerade visual novel prologue. But I'm curious... what is everyone else playing? Any standouts I might have missed? (My recommendations here, if you're curious).

There are a lot of interesting books hitting shelves this week. I'm definitely keeping an eye on Absolute Batman #21, Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1, Something Is Killing the Children #48, and Odin #2 from Image. There's also a new Hellboy in Love issue, Battle Beast, Nightwing, and plenty of Spider-Man and X-Men books for Marvel fans. What are you picking up this week? Any must-read books that should be on everyone's radar?

Look I get that shows are more expensive to make, but I'm getting tired of these 2/3 year gaps in between episodes. Like I just finished up Pluribus, and Vince Gilligan recently made a statement that he's in the middle of writing it and hopes to film next year? What? C'mon man, Breaking Bad was like 100 episodes a year and you cant get a move on? This new TV era is giving us great shows but at the cost of waiting so long in between them. Sometimes the wait gets to the point where it sours the show like with Stranger Things hahaha

I'm not quite through the first season yet, but I've been enjoying it so far. I wasn't sure what my kids would think of the black-and-white style and darker setting, but they've ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. What does everyone think of the show? Has it lived up to your expectations, or do you prefer the comic and Spider-Verse versions of the character? Also, what do you think of Nicolas Cage? Personally, I think he's great at this role and I hope to see much more of it.

Hello everyone i am a huge fan of Ghost in the shell. Now I did not like the live version. I hope they bring it back as close to the orginal version or the Gits version. Keeping my fingers crossed. Also the game on line was great we need a game for steam again.

Thanks to a new Avengers: Doomsday leak (from an upcoming LEGO set, not a grainy barely believable video filmed on a potato), it seems there could potentially be a Female Doom in Doomsday (as long as the set is actually FOR Doomsday). The logic of Doom variants does make sense - we know there's multiple universes and if Doom is recruiting, who better for an egomaniac to hire than himself in different forms? Here's the details on the rumor. Would you like to see Doom taking over from Kang a little more directly and having his own squadron of different Dooms?

The first teaser trailer for Shrek 5 is here, so what do we think?! Seems to me that it still has the edge of Shrek as a series overall, but I'm not convinced it can fully recapture the magic of the original two.

Peter Safran gave an update on the DCU slate, including saying they know they're headed in the direction of Justice League eventually, but they're not really talking about it yet. He also mentioned Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and that the Gorilla Grodd show (the Jimmy Olsen/villains mockumentary-style series) will start filming this year. What are you excited for from the DCU, what projects do you want to see happen, and when should they even start to think about doing the Justice League again?

There are some movies where the theater experience was almost as memorable as the movie itself. If you could erase your memory of one movie and experience it opening night in a packed theater all over again, what would you choose? For me, I think the original Jurassic Park would be pretty hard to beat. It was so new and exciting that I don't know if anything will ever top that experience. What’s yours?
