Spoilers ahead!

Starting to see why James Gunn has been softly suggesting that there may not be a Peacemaker Season 3, at least not for a bit. I'd be surprised if the character died in the next episode, but they're setting up taking him off the board in the DCU in some way.

Interesting...I can see that. Is it just me or did this week's episode feel like a bit of a letdown after the high and all the tension build in Episode 8? Curious to see how this all wraps up

This was actually my favorite episode! I absolutely loved how it refuses to diminish Blue Dragon to a mere "Nazi" and how tragic (and surprising) his death was. This season has been a bit predictable, which is not bad per se, since the writing is good. But, damn, I was not expecting that level of carnage! Also, I was expecting the season to end in the alternate dimension, not for everyone to escape so fast. Overall, I really liked it.

I'm also surprised by how quickly the show is leaving Earth-X behind, but the build-up has been great. I can't wait to see what kind of Easter eggs Gunn drops in the other alternate universes in the finale.

I, too, felt this episode dipped a little after the last one. Blue Dragon's death came out of nowhere, but it didn't leave an impact. Maybe if they let it marinate a bit after revealing he is not all bad would have been better. Overall, the episode felt rushed.

But I really like where the story is going and the way the cast is acting it out. It is a good superhero show after a long time, in general. It would be a letdown if we don't see a season 3.

For the next episode, I don't think any of our favorite team members will die. James Gunn usually leaves things on a high note, so it should be a happy ending at last. I am feeling we are in for some kind of twist for the finale.

I was genuinely shocked by the character twists in this episode.

Ads and Judo Master bonding?

Blue Dragon politically blue?

Chris's self-realization and breakdown?

Keith being a crazy man?

Harcourt is willing to assassinate a helpless guy (and possibly start an interdimensional war) to protect Chris?

The 11th Street Gang looking like psychos?

None of this went how I thought it would, but it was some of the best character work I've seen on TV. Cena wants that Bautista cred for being a legit actor. Keep at it!

Peacemaker's breakdown when the rest of the 11th Street Kids are attacking Keith was genuinely affecting. Great acting from Cena in that scene and this whole season really. Be cool if he could get some Emmy consideration next year.

Interested to see how the finale sets up Man of Tomorrow. Gunn teased it's as important to MOT as anything.
