What's Better About Absolute Batman Than The O.G. Batman?

Sometimes bigger can be better! What parts of Absolute Batman's current run do you like more than the Caped Crusader who started it all?

I don't have a favorite. I guess it all depends on the storyline. What Absolute Batman does better, imo, is aura farming. Plenty of times, the story makes little sense, but, damn, I want to see Batman riding a giant crocodile monster!

Here's the thing: I don't think Absolute Batman is better than regular Batman. I don't think it's a matter of one being better than the other. I think they're just different takes on the same general concept but if I had to pick something, I think I like that Martha Wayne lived in the Absolute Universe. Considering how different writers have done her dirty in their various attempts at "gritty" stories, seeing a Martha who is alive and arguably "thriving" in some capacity is refreshing.

I love all of the Absolute books, but I don't necessarily love them more than the original characters. That said, the one that gets the closest for me is probably Wonder Woman, but I just love the risks that the Absolute books are taking as a whole more than some of the other mainline books. I've always been a fan of having multiple versions of a character running around to try new ideas, and I hope that doesn't end anytime soon.
