What Superhero Game Doesn't Get Enough Love?

There have been many superhero games over the years, and not every single one ends up becoming adored like the Arkham series or Insomniac's Spider-Man. Which superhero game do you feel doesn't get enough love, and why do you think that is?

I'll get things started, and I've got two picks. The first is Arkham Origins, which aside from a choppy framerate at launch, was one of my favorite Arkham Games and actually put more of an emphasis on detective work while spinning an entertaining story at the same time. It also had some great villains and fun boss fights, and would love to see a remaster of the game at some point down the line. I feel like some of the issues it had at launch and the fact that it's a prequel were mostly held against it, but over time, those issues were mostly fixed, and the prequel element ended up being one of the game's strengths.

My second pick is Justice League Heroes. There are some elements that likley seem dated now, but the co-op gameplay was fantastic, and it was classic DC at its finest. Your heroes actually felt different depending on what abilities you chose to focus on during a given playthrough, and the story was perfectly paced and trim enough to encourage multiple runs. A friend and I ended up playing that game to completion 2 or 3 times, and I would love to see a spiritual successor that wasn't on mobile.

Dude ... let me count the titles. Remember Freedom Force by Irrational Games. Then there was Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Those are just off the top of my head, but if I put some thought into it, I could def come up with more. In fact, I think the whole superhero game genre doesn't get enough love --- just sayin'

For someone who loves superheroes, I haven't played as many superhero games as I probably should. I'll be honest, I tend to prefer playing games with female protagonists (or custom characters) since that wasn't an option for much of my childhood and I've done my time as Mario, Link, and the little pixel guy you had to be in the first few Pokemon games lol. And since we haven't really seen a game with a main female hero since the travesty of Catwoman, I haven't picked up many of them. Loved the X-Men: Legends games, but I do think those get a good bit of love.

The Guardians of the Galaxy game Eidos Montreal made was a lot of fun. A shame that's probably never getting a sequel.

That game really did get slept on. Really enjoyed the combat and the story, even if I wish you had been able to control everyone and not just Star-Lord.

Totally understand. This was partly why I was so hyped for the new Wonder Woman game (though also just a huge fan of the character in general). It's a shame that I feel like we got robbed of that game.
