What did you think of vol.2 of the final season of Stranger Things and how do you predict it's going to end?

How do you think they're going to wrap the story up in just one more episode? Do you think they actually go through with killing El and do you think anyone else dies?

The only problem with Vol. 2 is that I ran out of episodes and have to now wait for the finale lol.

So far the season has absolutely delivered, and now they just have to land the plane. With how season 5 has turned out so far, I've got faith they can wrap up this group's story.

Not gonna lie, I teared up a couple times watching the episodes back to back to back last night. The Dustin and Steve stuff really got to me. Like so many, I loved "Dad Steve" in Season 2 and the Dustin/Steve/Robin dynamic was my favorite part of Season 3 (Robin's confession to Steve remains my favorite scene in the series). It made me sad seeing Dustin and Steve fight like that and I'm happy they made up. Dustin telling Steve he can't lose a friend again after Eddie is when I almost lost it.

As for character deaths, I'm of two minds. I've long felt the show could kill someone off (I honestly though we were headed there with Jonathan and Nancy) but it would make me very upset if any of the main group dies in the finale. I don't think Eleven will die. I think they're setting it up to make you think she's going to sacrifice herself but we'll get the happy ending.

I've never rewatched a season of Stranger Things, but Season 5 kinda makes me want to go back and start a full series rewatch at some point.

It's odd, it seems to have been rather controversial online but I've quite enjoyed it. No, it's not perfect, and man do I think the pressure is heavy on the final episode... but enjoying it.

Volume 2 really worked for me because it felt intense, emotional, and like everything is finally set for the big final showdown. I loved how the stories came together and how the stakes got higher, even though it definitely feels more like buildup than a full payoff.

I think it’s going to end with a massive battle against Vecna, someone important will sacrifice themselves, Eleven will have her big final moment, and the ending will be bittersweet but still hopeful. And honestly, I’m pretty sure they’ll leave a little door open for a sequel or spin-off.
