January 11Jan 11 CB Team I’m leaning toward Mortal Kombat 2 having the edge, mostly because the first movie already put it back on people’s radar. Even if it wasn’t perfect, audiences kind of know what to expect from a sequel at this point.Street Fighter feels more like a question mark. The name is huge, but its track record with movies is pretty rough, so a lot will depend on how they handle the tone and casting.I’m really curious which one ends up clicking more with casual moviegoers, not just fans of the games.

January 12Jan 12 Mortal Kombat is one of my all-time favorite games ... pumped countless hours into it ... so my heart wants Mortal Kombat 2. But that being said, the popularity of Street Fighter suggests it will ultimately win in the box office.
January 12Jan 12 CB Team I don't think there's any other answer than Mortal Kombat. Honestly, the first movie was not great, but it still surpassed every expectation in terms of audience. A sequel that reportedly addresses the major flaws of the first movie is likely to do even better.
