Do you think Avengers: Doomsday is being marketed too cautiously?

With four teasers out now, it still feels like Marvel is holding back more than usual. I get the mystery angle, but I’m curious how others feel.

Do you think this slower, more restrained approach is helping build anticipation, or is it making the movie harder to get excited about?

I think it's fine for now. Movie's still basically a year away, so there's no need to pull the curtain all the way back just yet. I like that they built the teasers around legacy/popular characters like Steve, Thor, X-Men, the Wakandans. That could get the normies excited for Doomsday.

You're right, I hadn't even thought about how far away it is from release. In that case, they are doing a good job and playing it safe without revealing too much.

No, I think it's fine; we're 12 months away from release, so tbh I think they're marketing it pretty aggressively!

Good point. 12 months is a long time and I'm sure they will release a little more during the Super Bowl.

I don't think enough of it is done to show off more of it. But I do believe we've got to see RDJ as Doom sooner rather than later in order to really get its hooks in.

I'm thinking we're going to see him during the Super Bowl. That would be a huge crowd and a good way to drop their biggest one.

I think it's an okay pace with all the different teasers. Might actually make a full trailer feel more satisfying. Just feels a little odd with Spider-Man: Brand New Day releasing sooner and almost nothing on that.
