28 Years Later: The Bone Temple

What a wild, wild sequel. I can see why the movie isn't connecting with audiences, especially after the first movie left a bad taste behind for some, but this one was so unique and sets up such a distinct third movie I think it's incredible.

Yoooo I loved it way more than the first one. In fact, it's so good that Boyle coming back for the third film already seems like the worst kind of move lol. No way he sticks the landing of such a great set up.

I haven't seen 28 Years Later and haven't planned on it, but can you watch The Bone Temple without seeing the first one? Or would I be completely lost.

It picks up immediately afterward. In theory, you could, but there'd be a lot of missing context.

They're both great though, highly recommend them.

As a Brit, I am still completely reeling from the Sir Jimmy Crystal/Jimmy Saville stuff. Especially given how little it’s acknowledged (and I’ve heard Jack O’Connell deny he’s even based on him, somehow).

Similar sort of shock to when Joker played Gary Glitter for Arthur’s staircase dance.

Wait, the Jimmy Saville thing was not on purpose? That's wild! I thought it was so obvious that people wouldn't deny the connection
