Most Memorable Gaming Side Quests?

I'm a side quest hoarder and absolutely love games that have a ton of compelling side quests to take on. Naturally, I'm curious... what is the most memorable side quest you've ever played, and why?

For me, it's probably Skyrim's Boethiah's Calling, just because it forced me to abandon my nice guy treatment of NPCs if I wanted to check it off the list.

The Howard mission in Spider-Man 2 was very emotional. The ending of that hit me like a ton of bricks. Poignant way to wrap up a recurring storyline in those games.

I also loved The Storm Blade in Ghost of Yotei because of all the connections to Ghost of Tsushima. That was just a really cool moment.

For me, the Mass Effect series has lots of memorable side quests. One of my favourites is I Remember Me, which is the special quest given to Shepard if they have the colonist background. Being able to use Shepard's past to connect with the rescued slave and talk her into getting help really stood out to me, and the voice actors did a great job with it. I also like the Scan the Keepers quest, the exploration aspect of it helped with creating that sense of wonder at the wider in-game universe after I'd finished the first mission :)

There are so many great side quests in Mass Effect, just love that franchise
