Dan Aykroyd, who wrote and starred in the original Ghostbusters, is now executive producing the Netflix series. What do you think of the project? Imo, Ghostbusters has always been more successful in animation, and I don't like the spectacle-first approach of the sequels/reboots. Also, Netflix has released some pretty great animation in the past years. What do you think?

As a fully paid up member of the Bustin' Makes Me Feel Good fanclub, I do love Real Ghostbusters (the best of the animated series), but nothing comes close to the original live-action movies.

I'm hopeful the next live-action movie is better than Frozen Empire, and I'll definitely watch this, but give me the movies any time.

I'm looking forward to it, i loved real ghost busters on saturday mornings as a kid.

Agree with Simon on the movie point, but also given there is no evidence they can actually get the movies right, then I think this is the better, more exciting path to go down right now

I'm someone who liked the Afterlife movies, so I'd like animated Ghostbusters in that vein. Less classic core group, more just wacky GB adventurers with a new cast

Woah how did I not hear about this?! I've always loved Ghostbusters and will definitely watch this! My kids are really into it as well and occasionally ask to watch the original.
