May 27May 27 CB Team I live in Kansas City, one of the locations that is apparently central to the movie Disclosure Day so, today they did an interesting promo activation where they put a lot of red bird figures (origami, I think) all over our River Market area and some of them had codes for free tickets. We were one of three cities to get this which usually doesn't happen so it was pretty cool. My question, however, is how do we feel about this generally? I've never been a big fan of the promo activations like this since they frequently seem to happen in the same cities over and over and leave a lot of fans out, but I can admit that when they're done well they're really cool.
May 28May 28 I like that this is not just an NYC thing. As a Brit, pretty much everything like this happens in London. Which is an awful place at the best of times.
May 29May 29 CB Team I love these types of things, but as Nicole said, the irritating part is that they mostly take place in the same 2 or 3 cities. If they were to actually shake things up and do them in other locations, I'd be much more excited about them in general.

Granted, they did it at the place with the worst possible parking in a time when the city is an absolute hot mess because of World Cup prep but...

June 1Jun 1 CB Team Yeah, echoing the same sentiments, cool to see stuff like this in action, but it's usually the same places. Especially neat to see htis, though, when viral marketing opportunities seem to have dried up over the years
