June 26Jun 26 CB Team Now that both Supergirl and He-Man are in theaters, I'm curious how they stack up for everyone who's seen them.If you've watched both, which one did you enjoy more? Was one a better adaptation, a better action movie, or just more fun overall?And if you've only seen one so far, did it live up to your expectations?
June 26Jun 26 CB Team I enjoyed both quite a bit, though I will say Masters of the Universe easily wins out for me personally. That movie was so damn fun and it captured the series perfectly. I already have a Power Sword in the office
June 26Jun 26 CB Team My vote would have to be Supergirl. I thought MOTU was fun, but that was never my franchise. I've always been more into the superhero stuff, so I was always gonna gravitate more to Supergirl. Loved Milly's performance, Krypto, and David Corenswet is such a delight. Story wasn't the strongest, but still had fun with it. I compared it to Mando and Grogu in another thread.

I do have 2 boys who don't even know who He-Man is, they've just seen pictures so this could be a good one for them to see. Where did you get the Power Sword?

My youngest loved the new Superman, so maybe this will be a good one for him to see as well.

June 27Jun 27 CB Team I liked both quite a bit, but Supergirl wins out for me. It's the much leaner of the two, and I'd rather take a under 2 hour "solid and fun" movie than a 2 plus hour "fun but long" movie
