July 21Jul 21 CB Team One moment in the Doomsday trailer really stood out to me. When Thor sends Mjolnir toward Steve to make sure it's really him, it made me wonder if Marvel is hinting that this isn't actually the Steve Rogers we know. Do you think he's our Steve, a multiversal variant, or even someone like Captain Hydra? Or was Thor simply making sure it was really Steve before trusting him?I'm probably reading too much into the scene, but it definitely made me curious.
July 22Jul 22 CB Team I've seen a lot of theories about this, and I'm excited to see what turns out to be true. I've seen speculation that it's actually shapeshifted Loki, that it's Captain Hydra, etc.
July 22Jul 22 CB Team The Captain Hydra angle would be interesting. An evil Cap aligned with Doom who infiltrates the Avengers by appearing as a friendly face. That would be more creative than "here's Chris Evans playing Captain America again!"

Especially if they plan to make many more movies with Doom.
July 23Jul 23 CB Team It's him, I don't think you bring back Evans for the shock value of "surprise, he's ALSO a villain this time." It's a crutch to get the audience that left back in the theater
