What Do You Think of Marvel's X-Men Casting So Far?

Now that Marvel has started putting together the X-Men cast, I'm curious what everyone thinks. Are you happy with the actors they've chosen so far? Is there one casting you're especially excited about, or one you're still unsure of?

I'm trying to keep an open mind. Some of the best comic book castings have ended up being actors I never would have picked myself.

One thing Marvel's always been great at is casting, so I trust them to find a great ensemble for X-Men. Especially since they know how important it will be to get this movie "right."

I'm very curious to see what they do with Wolverine casting. Hugh Jackman is synonymous with that role now and the more they keep bringing him back, the harder it's gonna be to replace him. I would love for them to just use Dafne Keen as the MCU's Wolverine. She's in the age range that they want and everyone loves her already. It'd be so easy to make her part of the main universe after Secret Wars.

I kind of need to see who ends up playing Rogue and Cyclops before I make up my mind, especially Cyclops. I haven't been sold on any of the mentioned candidates for that role yet, so right now I'm just cautiously optimistic

Marvel's never had trouble with casting, but curious to see what direction they go with this new era of X-Men. It's going to tell us how much they want to separate it from the Fox releases, and how long they might want it to go in the future.

Good point on Wolverine casting. I think that one will be the hardest because no one wants to let Hugh Jackman go.

Yep, Cyclops is the character they really need to get perfect. I think this reboot or whatever they're calling it will feature him much more.

I'm curious as well! There are so many ways it could go. I hope they build an X-Men team that can sustain multiple movies like they did with the Avengers. The X-Men are too cool to not have staying power in the MCU.
