Insomniac recently confirmed that Wolverine is the only playable character in Marvel's Wolverine. That breaks trend with the Marvel's Spider-Man games, which often brought in other playable characters, including the notoriously boring MJ stealth missions. Do you think this was the right move, or are you as disappointed as I am that we won't get to play as Jean Grey?

I think it would have been cool to add at least a few playable characters. I would love to play Gambit in a game like this!

I think I'm fine with it. It would be cool to get to play as some other mutants, but I'm guessing Wolverine is the first in a series of X-Men games Insomniac wants to make so maybe in there will be more playable characters in the sequel.

Yeah, my first thought after they confirmed Jean isn't playable in this is hoping we'll get a solo game for her. But I kind of doubt it. More X-Men games would be great regardless, though!

All great ideas! I'd love to play as Rogue. I think her powers could be so fun to use in a game.

I wonder if they wanted to include a section or two where you play as one of the other X-Men but they didn't have the time to fully develop the mechanics since they were building everything for Wolverine from scratch.

The Venom segment in Spider-Man 2 was so great. I'd love something like that in a future X-Men game. Maybe now that they've got the blueprint down they can expand it for the next game.
