August 17Aug 17 CB Team What's up fellow ring slingers, Lanterns is finally here! You can read my full review of the series right here, but I really enjoyed the first episode and how it establishes the dynamic between John and Hal. Also loved that final twist and how it recontextualizes the show.Let me know what you thought!
August 17Aug 17 The show debuted yesterday and you put the main twist in the title of the article. Not the first time this website has done that, Iโm sure it wonโt be the last. Thanks, dude. The editing on this site is top notch ๐ Edited August 17Aug 17 by Sean-Bot2814
August 17Aug 17 What an absolutely insane and irresponsible headline for a show one day old. I know you all have done it in the past, but to have what I can only assume is the climax of the first episode in the headline is ridiculous and the kind of thing that makes me want to avoid this website in the future.
August 18Aug 18 Tell me itโs not crazy that the last two shows that have Kyle Chandler billed as one of the leads have him dying in the first episode. ๐๐๐
August 26Aug 26 CB Team This pertains more to the DCU as a whole, but what I'm loving about Lanterns is it's further proof that Gunn's whole "no homework" thing wasn't just for show. You can watch Lanterns without seeing any of the other DCU stuff. It's really its own thing. Just like Superman was.As the DCU goes on, I hope they can keep this up. It'd be the best way for them to separate themselves from the MCU, which fell victim to "too much homework" especially during the Multiverse Saga. Man of Tomorrow is gonna be the real test there. Will you be able to understand/enjoy Aaron Pierre as John Stewart in MoT without having seen Lanterns?
