Valdezology

There are a lot of new seasons of things like X-Men 97, The Boys, Invincible and more, but I'm most excited for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man to come back. What are you most excited to see?

Primate rules. Go see da monkey movie. It does have like a few moments of drag, but it's brutal, got a high body count, and it's a lot of fun. Go see the killer monke.

Short hair works for Chris Hemsworth, but if you're getting paid Thor money you gotta look like Thor dude. FOH with that short hair nonsense and put that synthetic on

Don't forget about Presence! One of my favorite Horror hits of the year, but otherwise it's def Sinners or Frankenstein. In 2026, I'm looking forward to Scream 7 and Ready or Not 2

I don't think they are committed to killing off any of the 30 characters, but it would be cool to see some kind of consequences to everything that's happened. There needs to be some kind of impact when it's all over for everyone. It can't be too clean cut of a happy ending after this long.

It's good to know Stranger Things will still have one fan left after it's all over! As for me, had no idea it was a franchise outside of the show and it should stay that way! Let's move on!

I think they're alright so far, but I'm waiting for the real hook of the season long story to kick in. It's all been solid re-introductory stuff but nothing that really has me yet.

Game Boy Advance SP, have probably put the most hours of my life into this handheld in particular. My favorite console by far

It needs to be interesting! GI Joe just doesn't have the juice to stand out on its own. It's just army dudes fighting more army dudes, and we got that with so many other movies. A more kid friendly take on war just aint gonna be it.

Hell yeah, but lol probably not happening any time soon! Netflix can't even commit to streaming Power Rangers! But it's got a real shot with Tubi honestly

Marty Supreme rules. I do worry it's one of those movies that's going to be on dude's dorm walls next to fight club, but just gotta shout it out as Chalamet's most fun performance yet. Real rat fink of a character

Do you think we'll have another streaming zeitgeist show like Stranger Things was for Netflix? If it's just in spirit I'd say Welcome to Derry is already a new and better Stranger Things, but I'm talking about a new show that becomes a major thing for a platform. Are we just too splintered at this point for that to be possible?

Apothecary Diaries took over the world hahaha, the second season is soooooo good. Seeing the big reveal tie into that mystery in the end really had me like 🤯🤯🤯

The Summer Hikaru Died is another great choice!

What's your favorite anime of the year? There have been soooooo many, but I think my favorite watch was Takopi's Original Sin. It was only six episodes, but I think that makes it even more appealing. It packs so much into its self-contained story and didn't hold back.

Sure we can debate high cinema all day, but what's your favorite nerdy movie of the year? Mine has to be Superman

I pledge allegiance to da ape, of da united apes of ape-merica

The IMAX extra stuff was much better than what was seen in the trailer, so I'm still holding out hope. But the Odyssey is also like 10000 pages and we all remember maybe like 20% of it. Hoping it's good

somebody gotta remake the poster for We're back but with the Sullys

One Piece had some killer ones this year, so I'd have to give it to Gear 5 Luffy vs. Borsalino. Just fun stuff all around

Won't believe a Spawn movie exists until after I've watched it and see those credits roll. Until then, it's as real as Spawn himself.

It's got to be someone who's both new to Doomsday, but also familiar. I agree that we need one of the classic X-Men to get a teaser to really hammer it home. Otherwise it's not going to have any juice.

To be honest it's kind of a blur, but the kid shenanigans to escape from the military was some fun, good old-fashioned nonsense

PRIMATE tho! Gimme da monkey movie

That seems like on the totally extreme opposite end of the spectrum LOL On my end, I generally do catch up on streaming low rent action movies that I've missed through the year. Just watched Heads of State, for example. Just mindless non-Christmassy stuff
