NYCC would be a great place to debut the trailer for sure.

Dating myself here but…

I still like season 1’s song better. But season 2 has some great moments in the intro. Plus, the meme videos coming out of it are great. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/5-movie-tv-scenes-made-way-better-with-the-peacemaker-intro-including-the-dark-knight/

I understand prices need to increase but, even if it's still a decent value, Microsoft is not making this move at a time where they're in a position of strength right now.

It is saying something that the xeno is probably the least interesting of the new aliens. Obviously it’s not new, so that’s part of it, but I tend to agree that outside of the first/second episode in the crashed ship and the flashback episode there weren’t many scenes with the xeno that were on the same level as the reveals of the other aliens and their various biologies. I get thematically the xeno communicating with Wendy is an interesting new wrinkle in xeno canon that helps explore the “monsters” question the show keeps highlighting. I still wish they’d done something along the lines of putting one of the xenos in a host other than a person (or human lung) and had a face hugger impregnate a gorilla or bull or something - like the 90s toy line.

Sony will definitely delay any release of the Spider-Man games - given they own the character in movies as well. He’s the most popular superhero by far - so they’re going to leverage that as much as they can to sell their own hardware. The Insomniac of it all definitely keeps certain Marvel games in the Sony family. But Marvel games aren’t entirely exclusive to PlayStation. Just so those Insomniac games. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be multiplatform. But it would suck to miss out on those Insomniac titles, they’re excellent (and Wolverine looks better that I expected).

Yeah, the episode he died was brutallllllllll.

I’m very curious about this as well. Could it be Weasel? I can’t remember if they said the character was big or not though.

I’m going to go by hours spent playing: Goldeneye 64 Mario Kart 64 Star Fox 64 Honorable Mention: Killer Instinct Gold That intro song still slaps.

Yeah, Kofi called this in episode 2 and it still delivered.

You have the magic power to release 1 new TV show releasing in 2026 a year early - and debut it in 2025 instead. You could instead choose an existing show's upcoming 2026 season (season 2, season 3, etc). What show are you picking? Mine:

Thoughts? I wasn't sold on Wolverine based on the leaked footage (and traversal) but there's some genuinely cool stuff in this trailer. The character designs are *chef's kiss.

Oh man. Mad Hatter also makes sense for Reeves’ “grounded” world - and would allow him to potentially introduce some other known B-level villains that could be mind controlled.

I would be more excited about this if I hadn’t played through Assassin’s Creed shadows earlier in the year. But on balance it’ll probably be my next pick up.

I really hope the do show Wolverine - because the leaked footage hasn't sold me (and actually kind of dampened my interest). If it's going to be very Spider-Man PS4-esque but without web-swinging and the verticality, I'm not 100% sure what will make it feel like it was worth doing that over Spider-Man 3 or even Spider-Man 2 DLC (or a new Ratchet & Clank or Resistence for that matter).

Oh, good call. Will be interesting to see if whatever is connected to Avatar 3 is "bigger" in scale.

Okay, so I enjoy The Mandalorian series enough (last couple seasons have been less engaging) and I'll definitely see this but they're going to have to do more in future trailers to convince me this needed to be a movie. Also, is that Jeremy Allen White's Rotta the Hutt voice or just a placeholder? I still think that might be the weirdest VA casting in Star Wars history (I say as a huge Shameless and Bear fan).

Agreed on this. Absolutely ridiculous. I remember thinking it wasn’t true because it literally happens off-screen.

Oh man. So true. This was definitely the hardest pill to swallow for that ending.

My daughter is on pins and needles for that Sonic 4 movie info. She loved 3 and is very pumped for Amy Rose.

Name a character you thought was done dirty in one of your favorite TV shows and what you’d do differently. How would their story change? Mine: Libby on LOST. She doesn’t get the blanket. But I’d be doing it for Hurley (who deserved love).

Would love to see it come to PSVR as well.

I replied to your other thread as well. This is a cool and well-thought out project. Some solid picks (and a few interesting ones) in your cast list.

I like these updates and agree it’d be a fun way to celebrate the 30th (and get a new generation exposed to the originals). I dig the voice casting suggestion. Any others you’d fan cast?

There was a lot I liked about the first film and I’ll be excited to see Part II but hyped might be pushing it. I’d love to see Reeves take on Mr. Freeze or Grundy. Riddler was an intellectual challenge, would be cool to see a tech or physical threat.
