  1. It doesn't actually help me relax at all, but probably League of Legends. Definitely need to find a new game that actually helps me chill lol.
  2. Mine is always just a box of Hot Tamales. I don't know how this became my go-to, but I continue to be happy with it.
  3. I'm not happy about it but Netflix. Paramount is starting to feel very nefarious. Netflix ain't much better but I guess I can live with it.
  4. The Game Awards is on Thursday and it's shaping up to be a pretty big show. What are you hoping to see announced this year? Personally, I'm dying for any sort of release info on Judas. I'm shocked the game still hasn't released. Fingers crossed that we get some new details at TGA.
  5. I don't think it'll be the biggest of 2026 overall, but Dune 3 is going to be huge. Should end up bringing in the most money of any of the major 2027 Oscar noms I would imagine. This assumes that it will actually release in 2026, though. Cannot see it and Doomsday releasing on the same day, which is what's currently the plan.
  6. I don't love the Spider-Noir character on its own, so I'm not even excited that this show exists. I think the character works best in the Spider-Verse movies just because it's part of an ensemble and can play off of the other Spider variants in a fun way. I think this series could end up being a mess. I'll continue to be skeptical until it's actually out.
  7. I have a lot of thoughts, but to be succinct: this sucks. I particularly don't like Netflix taking control of a lot of businesses that it has no real experience in. The idea of them calling the shots with WB's gaming studios, in particular, makes me quite annoyed. But then again, WB Games leadership has been awful itself the past few years, so I suppose they can't do much worse. RIP to movie theaters if this goes through.
  8. I really dislike both of these options, but if I were forced to choose one, I suppose I would go with Gunther. I understand that all wrestlers are supposed to go out on their backs and put someone over one last time, but LA Knight and Gunther both really don't feel like they need the boost. Kind of felt the same way about Brock Lesnar being the one to end Undertaker's WM streak. Still choosing to be delusional and hope that Edge shows up.
  9. Metroid Prime 4 is finally out this week and is set to be one of the final major releases of the year. Are you planning to pick it up at launch or will you be holding off til later? Our own review just went live here if you're interested!
  10. A Christmas Story was my go-to every year as a kid. It's still my favorite. I'm trying to push it on my own family now despite my wife HATING it.
  11. Might be a hot take, but I think 2025 has been pretty disappointing. Not a lot has resonated with me in the way that I hoped. The game I enjoyed the most was probably DOOM: The Dark Ages, although it definitely has its shortcomings. I hope 2026 is better.
  12. My favorite and potentially most expensive is Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1, which is the first appearance of the Sinister Six. Bought it off of someone about 10 years ago at my local comic shop for around $100. It's not graded but it's still probably worth $500-$800 now in its condition. I'm still kicking myself for not collecting the full run of Invincible before the show became popular. I considered doing it in college and probably could've collected every issue for just a couple hundred bucks, if that. Now it would cost thousands.
  13. Black Friday deals are finally kicking off this week and there are a lot of major video games that have been heavily discounted. What's on your radar this year? Personally, I'm getting one of my kids a Switch for Christmas and I'm grabbing a few games for it while these sales are ongoing. This will be their first video game console and I can't wait to see how they react to it.
  14. I think companies are fine to shut servers down for older games like this, but there needs to be more clarity during the sale process that such things could happen. If there were warnings or disclaimers on the digital storefronts or even on the back of physical games that made this more clear, then that'd be a good first step.
  15. If Sega is going to expand on the open world elements of Sonic Frontiers, there's still a lot of room for improvement. That game was just sort of fine, in my opinion.
  16. Ocarina of Time, Banjo-Kazooie, and Pokemon Stadium are probably my three favorites. Shoutout to Buck Bumble though for the greatest menu music ever. I also feel it's worth mentioning that Super Mario 64 is one of the most overrated games ever that hasn't aged well even a little bit.
  17. We've officially got a new PlayStation State of Play happening tomorrow on September 24th. Saros, the new game from Housemarque, is the only title confirmed to appear during the presentation at the moment and will be getting about five minutes of gameplay footage. Rumors are saying that Insomniac is finally going to reveal more of Marvel's Wolverine after four years of silence. I think that would make a lot of sense to appear and would give fans something major to look forward to in 2026. Otherwise, I am expecting another showing for Resident Evil Requiem. I keep expecting Leon to appear in one of these trailers and his reveal finally happening at State of Play would generate a ton of excitement. What else do you think PlayStation ends up showing off?
  18. I won't lie, most of today's Direct didn't speak to me. I'm not a Fire Emblem, Tomodachi Life, or Yoshi person. It was great to see that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is finally coming back, though. I will be playing that next month for sure. Samus on a motorcycle in Metroid Prime 4 also looks excellent. Very happy to finally have a release date for it after 8 years. What stuck out to you the most?
  19. I think there will maybe be one big game of those four that will get people really excited. Maybe something like the revamped Crazy Taxi or Jet Set Radio. The other three I'm thinking will just end up being DLC for previous games or smaller announcements that won't move the needle a lot. Hope I'm wrong, though. Would like to see more of Persona 4's remake.
  20. Really loved the first few issues of Hickman's run on Ultimate Spider-Man, but I've started to turn on it the longer it goes. The storytelling feels like it's not building to anything proper, with each arc just ending with a major surprise for the sake of it. Don't get me wrong, some of the twists have been cool (I liked the Mysterios reveal), but otherwise, each issue seems like it's trying to throw a wrench in the established Spider-Man mythos just to play with reader expectations and not much else. Compelling characterization is falling by the wayside, especially when it comes to Peter. Am I wrong?
  21. It's not as good as Eternal, but I still loved Doom: The Dark Ages. If a sucker for Doom games though. If they made a new one annually, it'd probably be my GOTY each year. Still really need to play Expedition 33. It's high on my list and I'm planning to play it soon.
  22. I'm excited for Ghost of Yotei, but not in the same way that most others are. Ghost of Tsushima was more or less a disappointment to me, especially as a huge Sucker Punch fan. I like what I've seen of Yotei and I'm hoping it will hit more with me this time around. Even if it is better, though, I want Sucker Punch to go back to Infamous next.
