  1. I know you said superhero, but I’m going with a villain. Doctor Doom brings his own metal mug, orders a very precise espresso, doesn’t wait in line, and insists the manager make it, even if they’re on break. He also silently judges the coffee shop for not meeting Latveria’s standards.
  2. I'll definitely check this out! It's cool that they will have D&D-inspired locations and NPCs. I haven't played Fortnight in years, but this may get me back online. Great article btw.
  3. I'll definitely watch it either way. Same with Street Fighter. I know these movies may not appeal to the general public, but will probably be decent for those of us who grew up playing these games.
  4. I would be happy if it's watchable to those of us who played it growing up. I'm sure the general public won't like it either way, but it should be ok as long as they get it right for long-time fans.
  5. I haven't watched the first one since it came out, but I bet it didn't age well lol
  6. I didn't know the original team is involved. That gives me some hope that this will at least be good in some aspects.
  7. I feel the same. the original movies are perfect and will be watchable 100 years from now. However, it's hard to get excited about new stories at this point.
  8. I agree, I think Frodo has done his job already and shouldn't be brought into new material. I love the character, but we risk them diluting his story.
  9. Cool! I'll check this one out.
  10. Are you hoping to squeeze in any comics, shows, or games today, or is it looking like one of those “we’ll see how the day goes” kind of days?
  11. Welcome to the forum! There are so many fun threads to participate in.
  12. It's a good time to rewatch them. Honestly, I've forgotten most of what's happened, so I'll be doing the same.
  13. That's awesome to be off on Mondays! Perfect time to catch up on things!
  14. I think you're right. Cameo appearances mean so much more if they're connected in some way.
  15. There is definitely plenty of potential! There are so many great stories they could do.
  16. That's a good point! I'm curious to see if those characters connect well with everything else. I guess that's a good way to test the universe.
  17. A horror convention sounds fun! I love old horror movies. My goal this year is to go to more conventions, even if I need to travel to different states.
  18. I would love to see your Batman cake when you finally make it.
  19. I haven't either 😂There's just so many things to watch
  20. I know some people may be off today, while others are just pushing through a Monday at work, so I was curious what everyone’s getting into. Are you catching up on a show or movie, finally reading something that’s been sitting in the pile, or jumping back into a game you’ve been meaning to revisit? It doesn’t have to be anything new or major, just curious what everyone’s focusing on today.
  21. Gerard Butler probably could have pulled it off right after 300.
  22. Welcome to the forum! Becoming a professional artist is a great goal to have!
  23. Martian Manhunter has really immersive art! I like how they have that one page that you hold up to the sun to reveal it. I'm behind on it, but will try to catch up. I'll be glad when they make the larger trade paperbacks so I can have them all in one place.
