  1. I tried to frame this around preparation, intelligence, and resources, not just raw power. Doom and Reed feel like obvious contenders, but someone like Black Panther would have full access to Wakanda’s technology and infrastructure, while Magneto or Constantine could approach the problem in much less conventional ways. Curious to see which angle people trust most and why.
  2. A universe-ending event is unfolding. You can choose ONE character, hero or villain, who has full access to their intelligence, resources, allies, and preparation time. Power alone is not the deciding factor. Curious which qualities matter most when everything is on the line.
  3. That's a good one! I remember wishing I had bought one too.
  4. I always thought he should, but now I think he should stick to his strict set of rules. There would likely be fallout if he did start now.
  5. Yes! Matt Damon will make it work. He's good in everything!
  6. Are you reading individual comics or the omni? I like how they have all of the comics in 4 huge books and they're not that expensive. I have books 1 and 2, but haven't started it yet.
  7. They need a game where you level up by eating healthy and working out and you lose "health" when you eat junk food or don't work out lol I love leveling up and I think something like that would motivate me more.
  8. I need some games to help me stay in shape too lol we got a Meta Quest and I'm hoping to get a little more active since I have a desk job.
  9. My goal is to play with my oldest more this year. He's a teenager now and I never know how much longer he will want to play games with me. We played Ultimate Alliance a lot when he was younger and I got him the Gold edition that has extra characters since he's been asking for it for a while. He wants to make Youtube content with it and I'm all for it!
  10. I haven't seen all of them yet, but I'll say season 1 was probably my favorite so far. Similar to The Walking Dead and how it's hard to replicate that experience we all had when the shows first came out.
  11. I had to thing really hard for this one. I keep a pretty thorough pull list at my local comic shop so I know what I'm getting monthly, but I always grab a ton of other titles to try new things and sometimes I get a dud. Looking through my stacks, I would have to say X-Men didn't really do much for me. I love the green Gambit foil cover and display it often, but I really haven't gotten into the storyline as much as I thought I would. I was a huge X-Men fan back in the 90s and I really hope they make a strong comeback. Maybe I need to read more of the recent X-Men titles, but I just wasn't very impressed with the ones I grabbed.
  12. I'm a relic from the 80's so I would have to say the Super Nintendo had the biggest impact on me. I got the NES when it first came out and we were absolutely amazed! We played it so much and it was great for times when you didn't have any friends around to keep you company. Then the Super Nintendo came out and we all thought that was the pinnacle of gaming! I never really got into other systems as much as the SNES, mainly because I got really busy in life and didn't play games for a while. Then we got the XBox 360 and had a blast with that one as well. I'm a fairly simple gamer and easy to keep entertained as long as the games are fun and not overly complex. I like to be able to just turn it on and play.
  13. For me, it was the Absolute Universe from DC. I honestly got very lucky because someone at my local comic shop put it on my pull list early, which let me grab first prints across the line. Absolute Batman especially could have been an easy one to miss once the buzz picked up and the prices went up. Looking back, I really wish I had gotten into all of the Absolute titles right from the start instead of catching up as things took off.
  14. We watch horror and thriller series nightly, so I would love to see more series in that genre.
  15. I don't collect Star Wars LEGO, but I've put together quite a few for my son and it's always fun! He still has some of them displayed in his room. Great memories!
  16. I think so too, unfortunately. I think Spidey can pull off some amazing feats, but I'm not sure he would know how to deal with many of Spawn's powers.
  17. I think it would be a great fight that lasted quite a while, but Spawn would eventually overpower Spidey if it were 1v1. Spidey would likely need someone like Dr. Strange to provide some backup to pull off a win against someone like Spawn. His Spidey sense would help prolong the fight though.
  18. I feel the same! Grew up with Spidey, but I think Spawn is just too much for him to handle alone.
  19. I’ve been thinking about how quickly some books take off lately and how unpredictable it can be. Curious what recent comics caught you off guard, whether you missed early issues, didn’t expect the buzz, or just wish you’d locked it in sooner. I know I have a few I wish I had gotten into sooner.
  20. What types of spinoffs are they planning? I love the feeling we all had when it first came out. It was the perfect show for that time period. It's like it captured something we all missed about the 80s. I'll likely watch more if it has a similar vibe.
  21. Awe man, I hope you find a fun place to start going to regularly. I was the same until I found a spot about a year and a half ago. They made it a point to learn my name and the books I like and started recommending books and I eventually started becoming a regular. I wish all areas had great shops.
  22. For me, it’s been a mix. I keep a pull list, but I’ve also found that just asking the folks at my local shop what they’re enjoying or recommending has led me to some great books I probably would’ve missed otherwise. A few of those ended up becoming regular pulls.
  23. Do you usually keep a pull list at your local shop, or do you prefer buying week to week? Looking back, are there any books you’re glad you didn’t miss, or ones you wish you’d grabbed earlier before they got harder to find or jumped in price? Curious how people approach collecting and what’s worked best for them.
  24. I'll look into Pathfinder also, thank you! I'm in a Marvel Multiverse Reddit group and have been talking to people on there, but haven't jumped into it yet. It seems to have a lot of moving parts to learn, but I may grab the book next time I'm in my lcs and give it a try.
