  1. Good points all around. I agree that Strange makes the most sense right now since he’s already handling multiverse-level threats. I should have added T’Challa and Luke Cage to the poll, though. Both have led the Avengers in the comics and would make strong options if Marvel ever brings them forward in the MCU again. I wasn't sure of the status of T'Challa if they were planning on recasting him or bringing up T'Challa Jr to take his place. That would make sense and he would be a great contender to lead. You're right about the star power of a few of the actors and I don't think Captain Marvel is well received.
  2. The Avengers are scattered after Endgame and the world feels like it needs a new team to step up. Some heroes have the experience, others have the power, and a few have the heart to bring everyone together again. With Secret Wars on the horizon and rumors of multiversal crossovers, who do you think should lead the Avengers in the next era?
  3. I haven't read any Moon Knight, but I used to play him on Marvel Ultimate Alliance lol. I'll have to check out the comics.
  4. I think you'll like it! I believe they are on issue #7 or 8 so you don't have too much to catch up on. They have some amazing Doom covers from the 2025 NYCC Whatnot Year in Marvel packs that are worth checking out.
  5. I'll have to think about this one, but I can almost always say it's the lawyers in TV series! It's nothing like that in real life and so many people went to law school recently because they watched law dramas and thought it was like that all the time.
  6. Same! Issue #2 came out yesterday and I can't wait to pick it up from the shop. The art is just fantastic. I wish I could draw like that lol
  7. I'll admit I've never played this one. I've heard a lot about it, but it may have been around the time I started college and didn't keep a TV in my dorm.
  8. I agree, the new Fantastic Four was a great surprise! I normally wouldn't read them, but randomly grabbed the cover with Galactus and it was really good.
  9. I’ve always wanted to try cosplay but never fully committed. We’ve been to a few comic cons over the years, and I want to start going more regularly and this time actually participating. I’ve always loved TMNT, so I was thinking of doing a Shredder or Casey Jones. Or maybe even my security guard character from Fantastic Four. I’d need something relatively easy for a first attempt since I don’t have any experience making costumes yet. What are some other characters that would be good for a beginner? I’d love ideas that look great but don’t require a ton of complex materials or armor-building skills.
  10. If you’re looking for Marvel stories, I’d start with the new Fantastic Four series, it’s been consistently solid, and One World Under Doom which ties into multiple series but can be read by itself. Outside Marvel, the new TMNT series has been really good, and The Last Ronin is a must-read if you haven’t checked it out yet. It’s one of those rare stories that hits hard even if you’re not deep into the Ninja Turtles lore. I’d also highly recommend exploring Geiger, Rook: Exodus, Junkyard Joe and other series by Ghost Machine. They're some of the best stories I've read. Oh and Skinbreaker! Robert Kirkman is attached to it and it's only on the 2nd issue and it's amazing so far.
  11. I've been really into Geiger, Junkyard Joe, and Rook: Exodus. I've enjoyed each series and hope to see them get adapted into a movie or TV series one day.
  12. Too many to list haha! There were no restrictions back then and quite a few gave me nightmares growing up. So many of the 80s horror movies back then were gory, definitely too much for children, but we watched them anyway. It's funny when you rewatch them as an adult and they're not scary at all.
  13. Yep! I'm a sucker for variant covers too : ) I always have to grab the shiny ones or anything with Doom or Gambit on it lol. I have a Marvel Unlimited subscription to catch up on books I wouldn't normally own physically, but it's still nice to load up at the comic book shop weekly.
  14. That was a great Batman movie! I still remember seeing it in theatres. I think every single seat was sold out that night.
  15. That would be amazing! We once watched the entire trilogy while camping in a camper with the kids and they loved every second of it, which was a surprise because they usually don't watch movies. I wish they would play it in the theatres again occasionally.
  16. Sinners, Longlegs, Get Out, and Nope ... they're going to have a field day with these! They could easily spoof that one scene in Longlegs where he's driving and singing lol so creepy
  17. Marvel has been busy expanding the Predator’s role across multiple titles, from Predator vs. Wolverine and Predator vs. Black Panther to Predator vs. Spider-Man and now Predator Kills the Marvel Universe. Each series has treated the hunters a little differently. Do you think the writers are handling the Predators the right way? Have they kept the spirit of the original films, or are the hunters becoming too powerful in the Marvel world? Which crossover struck the best balance, and what kind of story would you like to see next? Which series is your favorite so far?
  18. That's a good collection! How do you like the Berserk books? I haven't read any yet.
  19. I feel you. I lost part of my comic book collection in a house fire last year and had to start over. At first I wanted to just go digital, but started buying a few comics here and there and then went all the way back in. Digital is nice for when you're traveling and can access your books on a tablet, but I still like physical books the best.
  20. This is one of the most organized collections I've seen.
  21. They did amazing with that casting choice! He could easily come back for years and do more.
