December 2, 2025Dec 2 Finally watching The Long Walk now that Lionsgate's 4K has come out (really wanted to catch it in theaters but we had a baby in July and getting out has been more challenging). It just got me thinking what everybody sees as the best Stephen King adaptation. I think The Shining is probably the best movie based on King's works but obviously he has feelings about how much Kubrick veered from the material. What are your top picks?
December 2, 2025Dec 2 CB Team I am going to get roasted for this but I still like the most recent adaptation of The Stand.

I know that wasn't the greatest movie, but I still had fun with it.The Long Walk was very compelling, I just don't know if I can bring myself to watch that again. It's so brutal.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Gimme some of The Mist any day. I also loved Gerald's Game, and, this might be a hot take, but I was obsessed with The Life of Chuck. It literally had me crying in the cinema, so...

December 4, 2025Dec 4 CB Team I did not expect the Long Walk to knock me on my ass like it did earlier this year, but man it's so hard to pick one adaptation.
