December 12, 2025Dec 12 Wicked was my favorite musical before I ever saw it. First I saw it in London, then New York and finally in Seattle. (I'm dying to see it again next time it comes to the state.) Defying Gravity always has and always will be my favorite. Heck, in high school I had the script memorized to the point I could quote it at any given time. I performed Dear Old Shiz (the marching band version I wrote) my junior year and "For Good" with my best friend my senior year. Wicked always has and always will be my favorite musical because I relate to Elphaba so much. I read the book (wasn't a huge fan, too political) and I've seen the movie too, but the play will always by and far rank highest for me.

December 12, 2025Dec 12 For Good is my favorite song from the movie and has been from the production for years because it describes the deep love and impression some people leave on your life for the better. The way it was sung in the movie added to what I already thought was a phenomenal number.

December 12, 2025Dec 12 My favorite song in both the movies and musical is Dancing through Life! It’s upbeat and fun, and we get to see almost the whole cast in the same number.

WowSaw the first movie 3 times in the theater in the first month. Subscribed to Peacock so that I could stream it as soon as it was available. Own the 4k. Wow!Saw second movie on Nov 20th. WOW!Hard to pick fave song. I'll start with "The Wizard and I" because of the joy and hope that Elphaba so clearly portrays
