December 16, 2025Dec 16 CB Team With Absolute Batman introducing a new, monstrous Joker... what is your favorite version of the iconic Batman villain? Either comics or movies (or television!) answers accepted.
December 16, 2025Dec 16 So many iterations to choose from, but I have to go with the Joker in The Killing Joke. I love the deep-dive psychological depiction of the character there.
December 16, 2025Dec 16 Controversial choice, but I was growing seriously bored of the character until Joaquin Phoenix appeared as his gritty, grounded, and realistic version in 2019's Joker. Can't say I've seen many other versions, haven't really experienced the Joker outside recent movies, but the rawness of Phoenix's hit me hard.
December 16, 2025Dec 16 CB Team Hamill's version all the way. A really perfect blend of goofiness and horror.
December 16, 2025Dec 16 CB Team It's Heath Ledger for me. One of the greatest performances ever.Hamill is a close second.
December 17, 2025Dec 17 I really enjoyed Joker from the 1989 Batman movie. He was very cartoony and silly that contrasted well with Michael Keaton's version of Batman. I also enjoyed the Joker in TellTale's Batman season 2. Though the season left more to be desired in my opinion I think that take on Joker was interesting.
December 19, 2025Dec 19 CB Team For the comics Joker, I actually love the version from Batman White Knight (one of my favorite Batman worlds, period). If we're talking movies, then Heath Ledger's Joker is my fave. For TV, Hamill's Joker in Batman: The Animated Series still stands as all time best.
