January 3Jan 3 I strongly believe spiderman can beat Batman in a fight, spiderman has more feats and more witty ideas to get himself out of any sticky situation he may be in, he’s fast and got strength, not saying Batman isn’t strong but I don’t believe Batman would be able to beat spidey
January 4Jan 4 CB Team I've always liked this matchup! I know Batman has ways to beat people that outclass him, but I think Spider-Man would be too much for even him to handle. I know Batman can do amazing things with prep-time, but I think Spider-Man simply has too many abilities to be taken down. However, I do think Batman could set a trap for him, but if it's a chance encounter, then Spider-Man will take the win.
January 4Jan 4 There is one unknown variable, that would give the edge of the fight to Batman, which is, if his utility belt has something to instantly dissolve Spider-Man’s webbing.

January 5Jan 5 CB Team It doe stink that this match-up is never one that the crossovers ever get into. It's always another brooding character with Bats, but this seems like a more interesting fight than Superman and Spidey
January 13Jan 13 Yes, the fight would be incredible—but the story is the real event. This is a clash between the world’s greatest detective and one of the greatest scientific minds alive. Batman and Spider-Man aren’t just physical opposites; they represent two radically different philosophies of heroism. One is fear, control, and preparation. The other is improvisation, empathy, and responsibility.Their first encounter is all friction.Batman sees Spider-Man as reckless—too loud, too visible, too willing to joke while cities burn.Spider-Man sees Batman as cold—borderline cruel—using terror as a tool and treating people like chess pieces.Spider-Man: “You always brood this hard, or am I catching you on a moody night?”Batman: “You talk too much.”Spider-Man: “Yeah. People say that right before they start liking me.”As the story unfolds, the real catharsis isn’t who wins—it’s mutual recognition.Spider-Man is stunned to learn Batman has no powers.Batman realizes Spider-Man is holding back—constantly—and is far smarter than he lets on.Batman: “You could end most fights in seconds.”Spider-Man: “Yeah. But then I’d have to live with it.”Meanwhile, the rogues collide in a terrifying funhouse mirror:Green Goblin vs. Joker — Goblin disturbed by Joker’s lack of motive; Joker delighted by Norman’s need to matter.Rhino vs. Bane — brute force versus disciplined brutality.Doc Ock vs. Penguin — a cerebral chess match over Gotham’s underworld.Sandman vs. Clayface — identity literally slipping through their fingers.Mysterio + Scarecrow — illusions stacked on fear, a psychological nightmare.Peter Parker navigating Bruce Wayne adds another layer: two men wearing masks for opposite reasons—one to protect his heart, the other to bury it.In the end, yes—Batman likely has the contingency plan. But the victory isn’t physical. It’s two legends walking away with respect.Spider-Man: “So… same time next existential crisis?”Batman: “Try not to die.”Spider-Man (grinning): “High praise. I’ll take it.”Batman vs. Spider-Man isn’t about who wins the fight. It’s about what happens when darkness meets hope—and neither blinks.

Their skills match up better than Spider-Man.
January 14Jan 14 CB Team Spider-Man isn't immune to sensory attacks. Batman would have something figured out (a sonic device) to turn Peter's Spider-Sense into his biggest vulnerability.
January 14Jan 14 Spider-Man is one of the strongest (pound-for-pound) heroes in the Marvel Universe. He's also one of its smartest and most experienced. His "spider-sense" also helps against Batman's stealth. It's be a good fight, but ultimately Spider-Man wins.

The only way Batman has a chance is if he's ready and planned for the fight, but even then Spidey's spider-sense would be tough to beat.

If Bats comes at Parker with a well-thought out plan, I think he has a shot. But in addition to his spider-sense, he's also one of the smartest opponents Batman will have met, so if the initial "trap" does not work, Parker has the intellectual heft to even outsmart Batman.

He's way up there in intelligence.
January 18Jan 18 CB Team I honestly think that anyone can beat Batman if they come at him right and Spidey is the one that would come at him right and do it.

Spidey could web him up before he could do much. Only chance Batman has is if he prepares and even then, Spidey is really smart.
