February 9Feb 9 With so many comics available digitally now, I’m curious how many people are using services like Marvel Unlimited or DC Universe Infinite. Do you use either of them, and has it changed how you read or collect comics?
February 10Feb 10 After being a digital sceptic ... I'm now 100% digital now ... and subscribe to most of the apps from Shonen Jump to BiliBili for my manga content to Marvel, DC, and Comixology (Amazon Comics) for my comic book content. But I have no choice - living abroad means I cannot easily get physical copies of anything. Personally, I enjoy not having to worry about physical preservation anymore (though I still do for my pre-digital collection), and the ease digital gives me when searching for and finding comics. I def took a bit of time to get used to it, but now I think digital is a great alternative.
February 10Feb 10 I have not gone digital I’m a purest when comes to comics I like to read and turn the page , but I will try it out I just don’t like paying for it digitally I would rather to have and to hold my comics pages in my hands just old school , but I’ll give it a go. Let you know what I think once I try it.
February 10Feb 10 I use Marvel Unlimited and love it. I'm in the midst of trying to read every issue of Daredevil, and it has ALMOST everything. It's genuinely a game-changer compared to what it was like even just ten years ago with how much is available. Edited February 10Feb 10 by saperry
February 10Feb 10 I was gifted DC Universe Infinite last year, but found I really only used it for reference not for regular reading. I'm still a hard copy person.
February 10Feb 10 I'm 100% digital now, simply for the practicalities of storage and picking up comics I'd otherwise have missed. That said, I will still order a physical copy of a book that I've absolutely loved to show support for the creators.

I wasn't sure I would like it since I've always preferred physical books, but now I'm able to read books I would have never bought or couldn't afford. I'm almost done with Immortal Hulk, 50 issues, and it would have taken me forever to chase down all of those back issues. I'm considering getting DC next.

It's also saved a ton of money on long series. I still buy physical comics weekly, but now I read about 5 digital comics per day and it's not very expensive at all. I recommend trying it, especially if you want to read older books that are hard to find. I started reading some old X-Men comics and it's pretty interesting.

I have Marvel Unlimited also and I'm on book 47 of 50 for Immortal Hulk and have loved it! I would have never picked up that series if I had to buy all 50 comics, it would have been too expensive. I also like how you can choose a character and read through multiple series if you want to focus on one at a time. Have you tried DC's digital? I'm thinking about getting it so I can catch up on the Absolute universe.

I have Marvel Unlimited, but thinking about getting DC soon as well to catch up on the Absolute universe without having to buy so many comics.

I have so many boxes in different places and storage units it's insane lol. Digital definitely helps with that. I still buy quite a few comics every Wednesday because I like physical media and I like to support and hang out with my local comic shop. I'm reading through Marvel Unlimited, but considering getting DC next week as well. DC has so many great comics coming out all the time and it's getting hard to keep up with all of the series.
February 11Feb 11 Marvel Unlimited and I would say it allows me to test different comics that I might not normally read. Would be great if there was an app that had both.

Digital is definitely convenient. My "local" comic shop is about an hour and a half away, but I go to that town once a week anyway so it's easy to just stop by.

I'm considering getting the DC app as well and test it out. There are a lot of Absolute Universe series I want to read and don't want to track down all the back issues.

I think I might just be very lucky.

I think I might just be very lucky. That's a good skill to have! There's a bookstore that I go to occasionally that throws random boxes together and I sometimes find some hidden gems in there. They don't even know what they have in there and just price it all at $2.
February 12Feb 12 I have definitely transitioned away from reading physical copies to reading digital more frequently
