April 1Apr 1 I recently got to cover the upcoming major changes to The Elder Scrolls Online, which is shifting to a seasonal, more live-service-y model after 12 years. That got me thinking about longrunning live service games and how they can start to feel like a chore to keep up with.Do you play any live service games? Which ones are in your current rotation if so?I mostly keep up with mobile games live service wise because it's easier to check in on the go. I've got Pokemon Go, Pokemon TCG Pocket, Pokemon Sleep (are we sensing a theme?) and then Umamusume: Pretty Derby in my app rotation right now. I keep trying to keep up with ESO, too, but it's trickier for me because I have to sit at my PS5 to play. Edited April 1Apr 1 by Amanda Kay Oaks
April 1Apr 1 For mobile, it continues to be WWE SuperCard after years, YEARS! That game just gets better with time and they do a great job adding new modes and keeping up with the current Superstars. For console, it's Marvel Rivals and Arknights: Endfield as my everyday/week plays, and then a love-hate relationship with Fortnite that had me download it again recently and then delete it because I ran out of space. Rivals is fun as always, but I've really been impressed with how much depth there is to Endfield's systems, and the battles are really fun as well.
April 1Apr 1 I don't have any live service games in my rotation. I'm 100% a single player gamer. I just don't have the time to dedicate to a live service game to make it worthwhile. I'd rather use my pockets of gaming time for my story-driven games and platformers.

I'm typically a single-player gamer, too. I only enjoy live service games that don't force multiplayer elements on you, for the most part.
April 2Apr 2 I've still been dabbling with Marathon since that launched and I'm enjoying it. Otherwise, I play Fortnite somewhat often and I'm usually always playing whatever the latest MLB The Show game is.
April 2Apr 2 As everyone knows, I'm the resident Overwatch player. It's been amazing to see people make their way to the game with the new additions in the new season, especially since the number of heroes has reached 50+. You'd think it would be a high learning curve game, but it's great to see people showing up.

I've clearly chosen Rivals as my go-to for that style of gameplay, but I've been intrigued to go back and see what the new additions are like
