Starfield is coming to PS5 today alongside a huge new update and DLC. Are you going to be giving the game a shot if you haven't before?

I bounced off of Starfield a couple of years back but I actually liked what I had played quite a bit. I think I'm going to be returning to it this week and I'm quite excited to see what all Bethesda has changed. Hopefully it'll make the wait for The Elder Scrolls 6 a bit easier.

As a Bethesda fan and PS5 gamer, I'm definitely tempted. But I tend to be more of a fantasy/magic/bows and arrows kind of gamer than a sci-fi/outer space one. So I may wait a bit to see if they'll put it on sale before I check it out.

I'm a sci-fi fan, so this seems like something that'd be up my alley, but I'm not gonna pick it up right now. I don't have that much time for gaming, so a big RPG would take me a while to get through ... and pull me away from the other things I want to play.

Is it in a good state now? I remember launch being bumpy, but with a relese this scope I assume there were patches along the way that improved it (ala Cyberpunk)

I think the core game is what a lot of people took issue with. It's a bit more disjointed compared to Skyrim and Fallout. But the smaller issues that were present at launch have definitely been addressed. Still worth checking out imo

Good to know! Might wait for a sale but I'm eager to try now

I'm not the biggest fan of Bethesda games overall, but this one did interest me. I might give it a try
